Thanks, it's actually not the rates... the wings are a lot bouncier than quads and get moved a lot by wind or also tight turns or corrections. If you fly a cinematic slow pattern without heavy banking it looks much smoother with gyroflow and no corrections are needed but flying through narrow passages it's sometimes you need corrections or crash... and this T1 Ranger doesn't take hitting hard objects so well like a quad 😉 So yes, It's my skill and not the rates 😂 I will try to fly a bit smoother next time when I know the lines here in this spot better - should improve the jerkyness and vid quality 👍 thanks for sticking around and watching mate 🙏

@@GarethDix I think it was my buddy Sam that knew this spot and we started flying (or lets say crashing) there some 4 years ago... But basically Saturday/Sunday spots -> find an industrial site that is open enough (not fenced) and and far enough away from living space. Large Discounters / or gravel - concrete factories etc. could be such spots. You can find them via google maps. And you can scout them maybe with a 3.5" with a few packs the first time to see if you can fly there on weekends.

@@kellywasden It's kind of soft mounted on TPU parts. But I guess it wouldn't need it. Got it mounted on a PETG cam mount on my T1 Ranger. I have heard however that too soft doesn't work well like Mario frame or similar. I recommend replacing the mounts with TPU und trying that.

I liked the Avan props too in the beginning but on my 3“ and 3.5“ they broke a lot more specially in colder weather. Not sure if that still is an issue.

@@McLogo76 yeah they can be a little brittle I wish they would make them where they bend a little but they are stiff enough in the summer months but your right The cold makes all your gear brittle.

@@McLogo76 here a helpful tip. The props you use are UV sensitive and if you have a high power UV flashlight it makes the props or what every bright TPU glow and if you lose your quad you can find it even if it's stuck in a tall tree. This is how I find the ones I lose in open fields when the battery is elected and can't be found during the day. So I wait till dusk and go where I think it went down and turn that UV BEAST flashlight on and you'll find it quickly.

Very interesting. how heavy is it overall? I uses to like the HQ 3.5x2.x3 on quads below 250g - 1404 Motors and now the HQ 3520 on 300g with 1604. I wonder what fits the 1804 best. Have fun bro! 👍

I use the 3520 Gemfan hurrican with the 1604 t motors 2850kv and it flies perfect for me.

@@McLogo76 it’s hard hey, I am still only on sim for that one as I need to get a little more used to inverted visuals ha ha ha But yeah they still looked good I liked it. But I feel ya on the dual input it would make it snappier too hey with the dual rate input.

@McLogo76 quadmula f3.5. Speedybee f7 mini stack, tmotor 1804s 2400kv 6s, o3, rp1 elrs, and I printed the tpu parts on bright orange. Everything is in hand except the frame and it's aviving tomorrow I hope.

@McLogo76 I have to say I was a aos 5 fan boy but now I'm all in on quadmula. I've built 3 f5 splits but this is my first ever 3.5. They make great 5 in frames. I really dig them.

Thanks for pointing that out and sorry that was my mistake... I do fly the LetsflyRC 1604 4000KV and T-Motor 1604 3800KV. Yes I clearly prefr the 1604's with this 300g quad as I have more feeling for the throttle specially in lower revs around the hover point or catching the quad out of a dive.
